As we gather around the table this Thanksgiving it is time to think about what we are grateful for. While we do this every year, I believe we shouldn’t just be thankful only during the holiday season. Every day we wake up is a day to be thankful for and spread positivity to others. There are people who don’t have a family to sit around the table with this year. But they’re often times more grateful than we are. There is something every day to be grateful for. We should all work on developing a thankful spirit every day of the year.
I got Cupcake Chanel, my one-year-old Mini Schnauzer puppy in December of last year. I’m so thankful to have gotten him. He brings happiness to me every day, even when he pees on my floor. I appreciate being able to spend quality time with my family over the Thanksgiving holiday, telling stories, laughing and joking. A hot bath with Dr. Teal’s Lavender Bubble Bath is my favorite way to wind down. All of these things may seem small, but I am so grateful for them.
Every day there are multiple things to be thankful for. As we finish up Thanksgiving, Christmas and go into the New Year, Let’s vow to be grateful each day even when things are tough.
