My Divas, my Divas! I’ve just finished washing my hair and am now conditioning it with a new favorite shampoo and conditioner as I write. I’m telling you, this stuff has just breathed great life into my hair!
So before telling you all about this product, I’ve got to give you the specs on my hair: I do not use a relaxer, but do straighten it with a hot comb and/or flat iron most of the time. When in its natural state, though, the hair has a mix of tight curls, a z-pattern, and only God knows what else going on up there. So, it’s very critical that my hair stay moisturized.

About a month ago I was on a search for a new shampoo and conditioner – the brand I normally used changed some months back. And though I tried to stick with a modified routine, it just would not work. My hair was left dry and brittle, not feeling well moisturized for some time.
My search took me to Sally’s, where I found the Curls Unleashed line of shampoo and conditioner (among other items). The company that produces this line takes it a step further than others I’ve seen in that you can purchase products that target your specific hair type. In this case, I identify with a hair type of 3 or 4 (Curly or Kinky Texture). However, they also have products that target a type 2 (wavy) hair type.
Whatever the case is, after using the sulfate-free shampoo on my dry hair, it was left feeling moisturized, replenished, and clean. Adding the conditioner was like icing on the cake. I found great pleasure in being able to scoop up as much conditioner as I wanted to apply instead of constantly squeezing at a bottle. But more importantly, I saw curls reappear where I thought I’d had the unfortunate mishap of pressing the heck out of them! That’s how I just knew that this line is one I would stick with for as long as it’s being sold.
And that’s why I wanted to share this with you, my fellow Divas. This product has done wonders for my hair and I’m hoping, if you’re in the market for a new shampoo and conditioner, that this one works as well for you as it did for me.
